They wouldn't admit me until I was 5 cm and having consistent strong contractions. Walking was THE WORST and had me in tears but it's what helped speed things along so I could get admitted. Good luck.

@alyen2, I don't know why they want mothers to suffer. It's wrong. It's like they tire us out so by the time we've progressed to where they want us, they can easily just talk us into whatever they feel like doing and not what we want for ourselves.

girl I know your pain. I'm 40+3 and I lost my plug last night and been up since then with contractions 5 minutes apart. I have no tolerance for pain so I'm dying but had to send me home for no dilation. They said wait till my water breaks or to that same point where it's unbearable. I understand don't get me wrong but it's ridiculous 😓

with me first I was NEVER in crying or screaming pain... I got admitted because I was so dehydrated from throwing up and went from 1to 4 in 20 minutes and gave me an epidural to slow my labor and give me antibiotics for strep b but they didn't take me seriously until I was yelling over the pager that I was going to push... hospital didn't call the Dr until 5 minutes before I delivered!!! hate that they don't take us seriously:(

@autumnrae, if they could feel what we feel, then maybe they would understand. But they just act like we're over exaggerating all the time. I just want to grab their uterus and expand it and then stab it multiple times and then ask them how they feel
