He is still a police officer. He doesn't work in the field anymore but went through school and was on the field for a long time. once and officer always an officer. They only arrest if the offender admits to it. lie detectors are not admissible in court.

@taiboos_mommy16, I know! some of those people need more than jail.

I watch that too sometimes and wonder the same. the ones that are guilty of rape and abusing children. they should be arrested on the show!
