so my huaband was in the army in 2013

he was only 18 at the time so he got his 1st credit card to build some credit

well while he was in the service his mom fell behind on like all her bills so he let her max it to pay down bills

well to this day it hasnt been paid down and closed

and since i basically paid all of our bills for most of the remainder of the year

i was thinking about calling the cc company and paying it off for him as a surprise

its only about 1700 and i have a lot of savings that i havent touched in over 5 yrs

that's literally the only thing he has on his credit so I'm thinking i should surprise him with like a letter from the bank once the payment goes thru

sort of like a "push present" for him even tho hes not the one pushing lol

hes been the only one working and while I've still been paying bills this is something that we havent been able to get around to cuz something is aleays coming up bill wise so i figure while we have it i should do it
