i got my 5 year old some little "workbooks" because he has had no interest in learning his alphabet at all, and forgets numbers when he counts even if he just went through them. he has done sooo well with these books and he actually seems to be retaining everything now! im so proud of my little dude! he'll be kindergarten ready in no time which is absolutely fabulous since he starts this fall!

i have felt absolutely awful that i havent been able to teach him the things he should know. he didnt even speak much until 3, so i honestly think he may have a alight learning delay. his doctor told me to look into a summer program that may help but i just want to be able to teach him what he should know. @motherof4_galore
