When I ask your mom if she will come to the baby shower and she replys, ummmmmm well that's too close to the fourth of July I want to keep that day open just in case (in case of what?! You don't have plans I'm asking 4 freaking months in advance and you say you don't know that's the same as saying no.) you plan to leave.. That means she said no!!!

I feel like my mom isn't going to be at baby shower let alone part of this baby's life, bit I say its her loss. I'm done and not reaching out to her, cause she hasn't made the effort

Oh trust me I am. Like seriously is your grand child not important enough for you to take 1 freaking day for maybe an hour out of your time to celebrate?! It's not even like I'm asking 1 week before I'm asking g 4 flipping months in advance. Did you have a baby shower for your first? I know sometimes people get mad or annoyed if you throw more then one baby shower I wanted to have a baby shower this time and everyone got annoyed at me so I didn't throw one though everyone throws more then one baby shower today and the fact she your mother she should be more then happy but it's still a while away I'm sure she will change her mind! If not don't stress who ever shows up are the ones you want to surround your self with that day!

Yeah i did with my first and would have done a mother one but it's a boy and our last baby so it was kind of important to me and all i have is girl stuff. Yeah that's what I don't get she is my mother in law but she is just mad cause it's my parents hosting it but she doesn't want to host a party but she won't support my parents party it's pretty much just a protest cause she doesn't like me. @ab

I pray she has a change of heart by time you have your baby shower hon! Just make it clear to her this is y'all last child and there won't be another time like this again
