Don't get the implant! I'd stick to the pill if you want another baby in the near future. And I was told to wait about a year. Just so your body can fully recover.

My cousin had the implant and after getting it removed she found out she is no longer fertile due to the implant.

Think you have to wait about a year after taking the implant out. Ugh I would not get that if I plan to have more kids. Plus birth control I heard lowers your fertility. 'Might just be a rumor' but it messes your system all up and you have to wait for it to normalize again.

I was never told any of that information. My mom made me get the nexplinon in the first place. This kind of pisses me off

i had my implant removed almost 2 years ago now and have been ttc for almost a year with no luck. was told i should have no issues conceiving when i had it taken out....they were very wrong.

I only had mine in for 5 months and it took us 2 years to get pregnant. Good luck hun.
