im sorry but whats a membrane sweep ive been pregnant 5 times 3 live births and 1 miscarriage now pregnant baby due august 10 and ive never heard of that sorry if its a stupid question
It's okay. I just learned about it haha. They go in with their fingers and pretty much move them around breaking open the membranes to try to kick start labor. I'm not really knowledgeable about it, you can read it online!
This is what a membrane sweep is. I also never knew what it was either and I have 3 kids. I don't think asking will hurt but it's up to the doctor it won't hurt to ask the worst thing they can do is say no

Ask your doctor. Sometimes they will do or they might not its up to them but it won't hurt to ask
