personally I don't want it at all. my mom didn't have it done when pregnant with me or after neither did my grandma and so fourth. I was looking into it and having everyone who would be involved in my daughter life get it but I decided not to. I'm just gonna be strict about certain things
honestly, I got it because my boyfriend's family is living with us, and these kids are ALWAYS sick. one sounds like he has whooping cough.. needless to say, you know who's not touching my baby. but I didn't want to risk catching whatever these little bebes kids have and harming my son
I got it. My mom nor the women in my family got it but that was a long time ago so I don't compare diseases from when she was pregnant with me 26 and further on compared to now. The family that comes into frequent contact with my babies have gotten it too since finding out I was pregnant. For me, it's useless to make them get it and me not be vaccinated either. My girls were preemeis though so I was extremely strict
@jessica408, that's a good reason to get it. I heard of you are exposed more to children parents should get it. @boenischpartyof5 diseases have changed so much. And I understand preemies catch everything! I weighed 1 pound and 4 ounces and my sis 1 pound 8 oz! I still have a lower immunity to things which sucks! That's great your family was proactive about it!
