How many mommies on here tried evening primrose oil? I'm really hoping with her being head down that I'm already starting to dilate! Plus my belly is so low already. Told my husband we have to get to doing it! Lol I'm just hoping I'm progressing at my next appointment! It's crazy to think in 2 weeks I'll be 36 weeks! The end is near! 32 days until I get to meet her weather she come by her self or by my induction day! I would rather her come by herself! I better also finish packing my hospital bag!

I used EPO. I poked holes in the pills and stuck them up my vajayjay. It helps soften your cervix and perineum, But it doesn't do anything for dilation or labor. I just used it to try and prevent tearing but I was cut anyways. You aren't really supposed to take it orally during pregnancy & I asked my doctor before I used it vaginally.

If your doctor clears you to use it vaginally, poke holes in the pills with a needle first and I'd suggest only doing it right before bed and wear a panty liner to bed because it can get a bit messy.

@Chhaya, yea I probably won't take it last time sex sent me into labor like 5 days later it caused me to lose my mucus plug so I'll probably stick to that

Nothing will work unless baby is ready anyways, but EPO isn't used for the purpose of starting labo, it's used to prevent tearing.

@chhaya, yea but I think she will be ready early I had my son on my due date but I went into labor like almost 24hrs before I had him I'll probably stick to sex an bouncing on the ball like last time
