We're having our US tomorrow for the whole anatomy and gender, I told the husband to get orange juice but anything else I can eat or drink so the baby won't be as stubborn. Full bladder or empty bladder?

I would say empty for sure! A full bladder is only needed when you're like 6-10 weeks long. When tithe already 18 the baby cans be seen easily! Plus full bladder gets uncomfortable as they push and press around getting baby to move. Lol @bakingbabylovett

My paperwork for my anatomy scan says to come with a full bladder, so it depends on your office preference. Go in with a full, if it's not necessary, they will have you relieve yourself.

I have mines on wed. I'm 21 weeks and they told me to come with a full bladder. so i plan on drinking oj right before caz my babies move a lot for oj

transvaginal they usually ask for empty for abdominal they like full because it moves the bowel out of the way to see your uterus, baby, and ovaries more clearly. if they don't want full, they will have you pee. it's better to just go full lol. my doctor will cancel my appt if my bladder is not full enough for the anatomy scan and reschedule

They had me drink 20 oz of water, with a 1 hour hold before going in. It's easier for them to see everything. Also, they'll ask you if you're uncomfortable, if you are they let you void :)
