idk how to even feel right now.. I'm usually really laid back and fine... but I'm kinda bummed I haven't had any chocolate and blatantly told my fiance I wanted ice cream and he ignored it.. he had the audacity to ask if we could get headlights for his BRAND NEW CAR we just got less than a week ago.. but has the balls to get upset bc I wanna get the animals flea treatments for the year (less than 200!) with some of MY tax return.. I'm also getting stuff I've been wanting for the kids.. mind you, his headlights are well over $300/piece.. and our washer/dryer plus Dr bill is going to take just about half of the tax refund.
am I being unreasonable? I'm not using any of the tax money on myself or anything for me.. even though I definitely need a new wardrobe bc I'm still wearing clothes I had in high school..

no you are super responsible and a great pet owner. he needs to chill out with the car stuff... my boyfrind is the same damn way

I'm sorry, but the key word is boyfriend, he's not your husband! You have every right to not get MORE headlights for his car! You have to protect you and your kids from fleas, and your pregnant, get somethings for yourself! What has he done for you lately!?!

you are being responsible for your kids and your pets.... he needs to forget about the headlights especially with a baby on the way.... I say you go do what you need to do with the money and if there is enuf left get yourself something

and I mean, I know I'm ridiculously hormonal right now and he's done so well to keep his cool.. but he took out a 7k loan out for that damn car.. I'm happy that he's happy but he didn't even tell me about the loan until after he go approved which really hurt my feelings bc what's the point of the relationship if he disregards what I may have possibly said.. everyday I hear about something with this car, complaining about wanting this and that for it, mind you to $650 to register the car... I wanted to put back 1500 of te taxes in savings for the kids and emergencies and now idk if we will have that..
my amazon is up to $323 with the remaining stuff I want for the kids and the headlights I HOPE he picks bc they're the cheapest BUT have great reviews.. luckily the flea stuff for the dog last 8mo and of my 2 cats there is only one who needs a good flea fighter bc he occasionally runs out the door while the other is an is an indoor cat so he's perfectly fine on a 6mo supply of generic brand.

@gypsy.soul2, that's what we are here for ☺ I feel the same way, this app is a God send (I'm not pregnant but I have 2 kids) I am on a page on facebook but they either don't respond to stuff or they just aren't very nice

my husband and I sat down and had a talk about exactly how we would spend ours and that it should be on the most important/necessary things. I didn't think he'd actually do what he said but he did, maybe you guys can try to talk about it

we actually did last night :) ! we drew out and calculated all the stuff and it worked out really well bc half the stuff we wanted to spend on ended up being stuff we could wait at least 6mo for.. we will have a decent chunk saved and the things we want so that's nice @madibrice
