one thing to remember is that the only form of communication a baby has is crying, and that they're crying for a reason... skin to skin, upset tummy, blockage, colic, reflux, if your EBF then possible just wants to comfort nurse, if you're on formula it could possibly be an allergy to the formula due to an upset tummy bc of how processed formula is.. sometimes all you can handle is to leave baby alone and give yourself 5min to regroup your thoughts and come back and try again @inkedmomma

I dealt with colic from 10 days until almost 11 weeks. it would be every night at around 8ish and it would last anywhere from 45 minutes, to the worst which was 5 hours around 7 weeks old

gripe water and tight swaddling helped me often, sometimes nothing but patience (and maybe a little crying from mommy too)
