does anyone else's toddler beg like a dog when you get your plate of food and they've already finished theirs??? my daughter does and it's so annoying!
she'll leave half her food on her tray and try and beg for mine and I ignore bc she has her own food (usually the same thing).. I feel bad for not sharing but I feel like it's more important for her not to waste food of her own .

yesssss. My 2 year old does it and it drives me nuts. I feel like she's wasting food.

my fiance says I mean for ignoring her or saying no but he doesn't help when he comes home at midnight eats dinner and then shares it with her.. it really aggravates me. I'm trying to not have her be an over eater bc portion control is important and she will eat when she sees food even when I know she's not hungry. @kayloniandkaismommy

Thats why I usually fix enough on one plate for me and my 22 month old. Because of that reason. It doesn't matter if you have the same thing to them its the simple fact that its yours and they want it.

@gypsy.soul2, my husband did the same thing when he was home. My 2 year old is constantly eating....I can't eat in peace without her begging. but I get sooo upset because she doesn't eat what I give her. I have to really be careful about what I eat around her and my mom doesn't help that by eating candy in front of her, she is not allowed to have any candy....it turns into a mess.

I used to pick up my daughters plate and pretend to eat it. Lol she'd throw a fit and finish her food lol.
