so has anyone not felt movement for a day or noticed the little movement you have felt doesn't feel normal? what was your outcome? my son hasn't moved much since Saturday night. I felt 4-6 kicks around 2 am this morning but nothing since. now I feel a little movement up against my ribs, but it doesn't feel like it usually does. I was told to go to l&d to be monitored but if I felt something, I needed to stay home and monitor it for an hour.

When I was getting ready to have my daughter I didn't feel much movements towards the end because they don't have much space and they store energy to be born. As long as you feel movements the little one should be alright. You can always try poking at the belly and different things to see if you can get the little one to move more as well. But if you are still concerned call you ob/gyn dr and ask them about it

I'm 29 weeks tomorrow FTM. My ob gave me a paper about the fetal movements last week I'll post a picture of it for you. Try drinking something really cold, water usually works for me or walk around for a little bit and lay down on your side and the baby may start moving I also sometimes push(not very hard) but on both sides of my belly at the same time and he'll usually stretch out.

@artimas, I'm monitoring them now. but I'm just confused. it's been so hard to gauge his kicks because I have an anterior placenta.

@stosha717, I have been doing the usual things. when it didn't work, I called today. I just wanted to avoid a trip to l&d lol. I know that when I am feeling movement, the consistent pain I've been feeling in between intensifies....and I'm not sure if I should let them know

I'd go ahead and call the doctor and explain the pain your having. I've never been in labor I don't know what it feels like. They may be able to give you more of an idea on what to do. They may have some kind of thing to try before going to l&d

I see, but it never hurts to call and talk to them since they are Drs in this field of work. They would be able to tell you better on what to do. But they may not be to concerned if you are feeling movement through out the day. And gauging is hard to do towards the end
