So I went to the doctor because I was feeling sick and they told me I have strep throat. They handed me the papers they give you about your medical information for the past and that visit. I looked and it said I was high risk. No one has told me this until I saw it on my chart. Can someone please explain what a high risk pregnancy is exactly? I'm hoping that was a typo.

Ok. I mean the only bad thing on my chart was probably migraines and depression/anxiety. I don't have blood pressure problems at all. But thank you @emily18234 for the information

np. that's probably what it is. I have anxiety attacks and it brings on severe BH and could cause preterm labor. I know it won't in me, but they'd rather be safe than sorry

Yeah I can understand that. I get so over emotional all the time but it hasn't caused me pain really. I'll just have to ask my ob about it at my appointment this week @emily18234

That's mal practice @meboom01 they have to notify you if your high risk. even if it's not directly about the baby.

Well before it never said high risk until the other day when they gave me my chart @celeste0507 I'm still gonna ask about it at my appointment

@celeste0507, yeah I know I don't either. My mom thinks it's because of my age but I don't see how since I'm 19. I thought younger pregnancies were supposed to be better because there's less issues?

@meboom01, younger mother's have a higher chance of miscarriages.
