People need to realise that this baby is MY baby and what ever decision or choice I make it is my decision or choice no one else's! Sick of people getting involved, having their opinions and telling me everything I'm doing is wrong! I have baby's play mat in the front room and got told I shouldn't have it out as it looks messy, I'm sorry but this is my child and my house! If I want to have babies stuff out then I will because quite frankly ITS MY CHOICE! If someone doesn't like something I am doing that involves baby then they can quite happily have nothing to do with me or my child because I'm sick of it all!! Wonder when I will actually get to start enjoying this pregnancy????

What are you meant to do with the play mat 😂 wait till they have tons of toys. right now in my living room I have a 3 tier rack with 9 storage baskets of toys. A box of books. A box of puzzles. A rocking horse. A box of bricks. A drum. Some random big baby toy. A play mat and a bouncy chair. and it's my son's birthday in two weeks so it's only going to get added to 😂 does this person have children 👍

Ignore everyone else, if they don't like what you do then they don't need to come to your house, tell them to keep their opinions to themselves x

Yeah this person is my MIL and she seriously doing my head in! I told her yesterday that it's because it's my child and my house and I want to! She's now turned round and said if I'm going to be like that then she won't be helping out with buying baby stuff...well if she's going to be like that id rather her not help! I'm sick of everyone trying to have their own input, it's infuriating me right now ! @tuftyturtle @darciepenny xx

Tell her that her opinion of you has absolutely nothing to do with whether she should be helping out with HER grandchild! But at least you told her straight eh! People always have opinions when it comes to babies, but your baby YOUR rules x

I'm kind of getting to grips with the my baby my rules stuff now and it seems to be annoying more people which tbh I don't really care any more I just want to be able to enjoy my pregnancy seeing as it's my first child without people being Mardy about every little thing xx @darciepenny xx

You can't please everyone, I come across as a complete nobhead to people at times but id rather be over protective of him than not care, my grandma keeps telling me I should leave him to cry and my nan tries to pick him up all the time, I just tell them all straight now, I parent how I want to parent and as long as my son is happy and healthy that's all that matters to me, if I need help I'll ask for it, but it's good you've set boundaries for them now as they will hopefully understand when baby arrives xx

Yeah after last speaking to you I've kind of manned up a bit and started telling people and making them realise that this is my child! By all means if I ask for help then please help and advise but otherwise, please leave me alone ha @darciepenny xx

Hahahah im exactly the same. Everyone's so possessive over babies, even family memebers I didn't think would be that involved and really obsessed, I know some are only trying to help but god there's a line you don't cross xxxx
