I was in labor for about 9 hours and making no progression except for the 1 hour I was on stadol or whatever it's called. Finally, I caved and got the epidural and 2 hours later he was out (: I just couldn't stand the contractions. They kept getting worse and I wasn't progressing at all. Probably didn't help I was on the pitocin, making them worse supposedly.

4 cm , but was in labor for 3 hours. 12 hours after I got it i had her.

I believe I was around 5 or 6cm....pitocin was started at 8am and I had epidural by noon.

I got it at 8cm, I wanted to go natural but my contractions weren't even giving me time to breath and the doctors didn't want me pushing so I gave up. In labor for 11 hours total

I was dilated to like a 6 or an 8 I believe. They did it right before they broke my water, since everything would speed up quickly at that point. But I knew the entire time, even before labor I'd be getting an epidural.
