admitted now with epidural just waiting to dilate!! only problem is, it's not fully working on my left side but I'm numb on my right. but at least it's numb enough not to feel that much pain. also I'm literally falling asleep every five minutes lol hubby is napping as well since I'm not in pain anymore and he didn't get much sleep either.

I'm delivering at Cobb Wellstar..the first guy didn't do it right and I ended up in transition at 7cm before they figured out what was wrong but I'm great now they fixed it..I'm at 8cm now and 90% effaced..nurse said I will probably deliver before dark today!! btw catheters suck with no pain meds!! transition is also extremely extremely EXTREMELY painful and there aren't any breaks between them. they did end up.giving me pitocin because my blood pressure was acting up so they are trying to speed it up a little. at least I don't feel much now. I'm currently wearing an oxygen mask and falling asleep already because I'm already exhausted. ill let you guys know when he I s v

How long were you in labor before you had the epidural?

With my son my epidural was amazing - with my daughter it only numbed my right side. We made it through without any horror stories! Good luck!

How long have you had it ? It took mine a little bit to fully kick in . My right was more numb than my left . I took a 30 min nap to forget about it & relax & when I woke up everything was numb .
