Sorry to vent but I have to let some steam out. I'm seriously over dealing with my parents. I don't live with them, and they actually live in separate states, but each of them have one of my sisters. My mom is a drug addict and my dad is an alcoholic. Neither of them have anything going for them right now, and still think they're both the parents of the year. I'm at my breaking point and idk if it's bc I'm technically a mother now. My dad doesn't even try to get a job, and sponges off of his sister and my younger sister for money. My mom just straight denies it when proof has shown otherwise. I just stopped talking to my mom bc she decides to use heroin when I went to visit my youngest sis a few weeks ago. I just sent my dad a long text bc my other sis told me she's been working and he has been guilting her into giving him her money that she is saving for her first car. I'm just over it. They both need to grow the hell up. I'm not gonna sit around and condone their behavior anymore. I care about my sisters and my own well being (and ofcourse the baby) way too much. I'm fuming right now. It's honestly less stressful not having any type of relationship with either of my parents.

@alexusasia420, I wish. I would take both of my sisters in if I could, but my SO and I am having financial issues as it is right now. We're trying to find a stable place to live before our baby comes.

@alexusasia420, I raised those girls more than my parents did. They use to call me mommy. My parents were never around and I was. So they're like my babies, even if I can't have them with me, I still go all mama bear on whoever takes advantage of them.

I feel you(some what) my mom is a raging alcoholic and a mean and bitter one. every conversation always turned into what a terrible person and unbearable bitch I am. I quit talking to her 2 years ago but she found out I'm pregnant through fb and is trying to make contact with me and I'm like not today satan, not today!

@mcdodgen, yeah that sounds about right. I'm just done with excuses. I want my parents in my life but it's more stressful for me having them in my life than not. They cause me so much pain.

I understand. I felt like I owed her a relationship but finally realized that between other family & friends I had more than enough people that love me and I didn't need her toxicity in my life. it's been very liberating to cut the cord and not have to worry about what she has to say. I know you want to be there for your sisters but they would probably be better off with your parents too
