Don't second guess yourself! I bought a train ticket three years ago to leave my ex husband and for the three days that I had to wait to depart I let him get in my head. I almost gave him another chance, and then he did it again. If they don't change knowing you're going to leave, then they never will. Not for you, not for the baby. Don't overthink it if he doesn't show emotion when you leave. I spent three days on that train crying my eyes out with my two year old son, wanting to know why he didn't love either of us enough to try to stop it. Sometimes it just really does need to happen and is for the best.

and I'm sorry for your situation I went through the same situation with my BD that's why I stay with my mom I'll be okay with out him he doesn't want to be in my daughters life that's fine I'm not gonna force him
