HELP????!!!
I went to the hospital today and they discovered that my son stopped growing 2 weeks ago!!!! :( he is still extremely active and responsive and his heart rate is perfect and he is getting perfect blood flow through the umbilical cord so we don't know what is causing him to not grow... I did get the steroid shot 2 weeks ago for his lungs but it has nothing to do with it.

np @shandra. The hospital was TOTALLY off w the both of mine the day of and the day before. I am a registered nurse in L&D 2, so I've heard of many stories of women expecting 2 have little tiny babies having babies that don't fit their newborn 1z needing 0-3 months. Good luck hun ;)

the more u stress urself about it will only harm baby. if ur mil is the ultrasound tech see if she can move up ur appointment 2 ease ur mind.

Before having my 1st born they measured her the day of and she was supposed 2 be 7lb 6oz. 18 inches long. She was born that day at 8lbs & 5oz 21 1/2 inches long..My 2nd born was measure the day be4 birth and was supposedly 8lbs 7oz & 1 inches long. He was born 9lbs 3oz & 18 1/2.inches long. Just keep in mind that an ultrasound is not 100% correct. Realisticly u cant really measure baby until he/she is born. I wouldn't stress urself out 2 much on this, ur almost 2 the end of ur pregnancy 2. if baby was 2 come anytime now, more than likely he/she will be fine.

@haynpochorican3, I had an ultrasound two weeks ago (my mother-in-law is the ultrasound tech at my doctors office) and she measured him and weighed him he was measuring at 32 weeks but has short legs (me and his dad do too) and he weighed 4lb 3oz
today at the hospital he was the EXACT same. 4lb 3oz and measuring 32 weeks.... :( we have another doctors appointment Thursday so my MIL is going to measure him again and make sure he is okay but im terrified something is wrong my body has been trying to go into labor since 30 weeks so we need him to grow as much as he can before he comes. we're thinking we might get one more week before he comes..

Are they completely sure? Maybe just a small baby! Stay positive mama, get a 2nd & 3rd opinion! Don't stress 2 much! Blessings ur way!
