I think any time after you find out what the sex of the baby is. I'm having two baby showers one at 32 weeks and one at 37 weeks. I've known the gender since 21 weeks but wanted to wait till I was in my own apartment before having one.
I had 3 and the last one was at 35-36 weeks and it was exhausting. The other 2 were 32 and 33 weeks and I enjoyed those a lot more because I wasn't miserable yet

I would say anytime after you find out the gender, so you already know what color of things to get

I personally think 28-36 you never know when baby will come and also what you won't gdt
