Okay so opinions... I live in Scottsdale Arizona.
Me and my fiancé both work in Gilbert. About 30 minutes from our apartment. The hospital I'm delivering at is literally walking distance from where we live now. The problem I'm facing is do we move into a two bedroom two bath apartment (we have a 1 bedroom now. would be the same apartment building) that'll be $507 to move into and $1,000 a month for rent. Or get a 3 bedroom 2 bath in Gilbert closer to work that'll be $1,200 a month. But it'll be more than $2,000 to move into the house. Note, both our parents live within 20 miles from us now. Gilbert is about a 50 minute drive for my parents. And, I only have about $2,500 in my savings which is for move in costs and baby expenses. What do y'all think? I want to just stay with the 2 bedroom apartment but my fiancé wants a bigger place. But I don't think we'll be able to comfortably pay for a house. Our rent right now is about $860 that we split in half.

I would go for the two bedroom unless your planning on having more kids right away

I wish I could pay 860$ a month for my one bedroom... if you want to move and feel comfortable with paying the higher rent then go for it... I honestly would wait until after baby and try to save a little more and then move to a bigger place just so I would have the stress of trying to I've before the baby comes

@lovelybritt, it's closer to $1,000 after water, cox and power though. :/ but yeah I think we'll stay inside the apartment complex :)

I pay 1400$ a month for a one Bedroom and in may it goes up to 1500$ but my husband want to the same thing you do but we're trying to move to a 2 bedroom within our complex for a extra 200$ a month
