Do any of you ladies know if its OK to take more than 5 tablets in 24 hours of tums?  it says dont take more than 5 if you are pregnant, but I'm out of my usual heartburn meds and its killing me!

@lovelybritt, I was taking prilosec OTC, but my Dr said I can only use it for a month. Well the month is over and my heartburn returned with a vengeance.  @kaceliam I hate mustard but I might have to try it if nothing else works. thanks ladies!

Try a teaspoon of mustard, it might burn a lil going down but it actually works.

the back of the container says not to if your pregnant. of your heartburn is really bad then ask your doctor about zantac
