am I abnormal because I stopped pain meds and morphine the morning after my csection, and was up walking around through the pain with literally NO downtime since then? My doctor and nurses were amazed by me. I guess it takes most wo men weeks...then again, I have a baby in the NICU...He was my motivation

Oh wow ! You are strong ! I was on meds all up to my discharge time. It was soo soo painful to just get up & walk a few steps to use the bathroom. Proud of you ! Hope you have a speedy recovery & a healthy baby !!

oh wow i was just saying this lol i came home with NO pain meds after my csection, i was up every day after my csection they were surprised i wasnt in the bed all day lol

I was the same way! I didn't ask for pain meds because I didn't hurt but my doctor made me take it for swelling. I felt like I was immune to pain or something lol
