I don't think it will affect your milk I could be wrong though, but they don't recommend it just because there is a,chance to get infection and that can get into your milk and pass onto baby

You can not get a tat while you are breastfeeding cuz if you get an infection it will go into the breast milk and then to baby. I want to get my next tat but have to wait. My cousin does tats and that's what he has told me since I had my daughter. @megbaby07 @mom1st @

talk to your doctor they will give you the best advice, the way I look at it is we already have to wait 9 months, waiting a little longer won't hurt any. while your breastfeeding get something drawn up and go to different shops for price estimates, it'll come sooner than you want, babies grow way too fast

I got one while I was breastfeeding and he was about 5 months old. I breastfed till he was 15 months with no problems

Pump and dump. I saved up milk for a few days and bottle fed with breast milk. I got two tattoos when my daughter was about 4-5 months old and I was still bf her.

it's not wise to get a tattoo when you are breastfeeding because If the needle is contaminated it will get to your baby through the breast milk.@mom1st,
