trying to tell my family to stop buying things without being rude. it's like they're in competition with each other but wth am I gonna do with 3 swings & 3 pack n plays? they ask what doesn't she have and I say if you wanna buy anything you can get diapers and baby soap and stuff yet they still keep buying other shit we don't need. I'm gonna ask for the receipt and exchange it all I guess.

hell sale whatever you have double of... like the swings and pack and play. and use that money to buy what you need. @aniyahsmommy_0623

I agree! I think having 2 of everything is enough but the rest you should return and Exchange for diapers, wipes, baby food, you know the essentials :) politely tell them you have enough accessories and that you would really appreciate other items, I don't think it would be rude. I hate it when families compete! it's very stressful for the mom. hope you figure it out girl ❤

At my first baby shower I ended up with three strollers and two car seats I just took the ones I didn't like back and got what I needed

Oh yeah, just mention to them that you had more than you needed so you exchanged it for something else you needed at the time. most stores will do an exchange without the receipt but it won't always guarantee the same price the person paid! it's always better to have the receipt. also, babies r us is doing their trade in program right now... you trade in something and get 25% off the same thing in a newer model. basically like an upgrade with a discount :)

I was totally gonna say, return two of the swings and two of the pack n plays and put that money into a savings account so you can buy stuff as you remember what you need or what you want :)
