Had the paragard iud and ended up gettin it taken out after 8 months bc it was causing me lots of problems. Had copper toxicity among other issue. Please make sure to research each option before you choose one. What causes problems for one person may not cause problems for the next. =)

I had the iud merina for 5 yrs.. never had a period! but I did get infections a few times... other than that I was good. but everyone is different

I had the Mirena. No period, no weight gain, no issues. Also I have a history of abnormal paps that stopped the whole time I had the Mirena.
