I stayed with my son's father for way too long. I kept thinking this and by the time I had the courage to leave I was pregnant and he wanted nothing to do with a baby. I knew I deserved better but I just couldn't leave. I kept thinking he will change. He was a shitty boyfriend and he's a dead beat father. You deserve the fairy tale all us girls believe in. It's out there. I'm no longer settling for anything but the best.

I agree you can only fight for so long. One way or another one of you will walk away eventually. I am a witness of that
