My fiance keeps saying I'm overly paranoid about our son getting sick.
I have read many stories about multiple babies getting RSV and such from people having minor colds. Is it safe to say, yes I'm going to be scared and not want someone recently sick around him?
He's making me feel like shit for thinking about our son's safety, knowing my entire life I've struggled with good health from an immune system deficiency.

I don't allow anyone near me or my kids if they were sick recently I'm not risking my babies getting sick when they never do

With my baby having sickle cell which causes a weakened immune system I am not as vigilant as I should be I have sanitizer and soap and sprays around the house but when we go out I hate to be that mom like don't touch my kid, her nanny doesn't mind being the bad guy though but I know I need to do so as well my only advantage is she takes antibiotics everyday as a precautionary measure to be able to fight off a serious infection but the common cold 😁 she's only had one or two minor colds since birth though
