I think it depends on feeding, breastfeeding babies do seem to wake more. .. my son was formula fed starting a little before 2 months and By 4 months he was sleeping thru the night

my sisters baby is formula and breastfed and when I watched him I gave him formula and he woke up every hour and my daughter is strictly breastfed and woke up once or twice. @sarahdrew weird.
