it is definitely more accurate at 20 weeks.

if your doctor wants to tell you early let him or her, 20 may be more accurate but the early ones are accurate also.

It's definitely more accurate when you go for the anatomy scan. or at 20 weeks. I went for a level 2 ultrasound at 19w which is standard at my Dr and this is how it came out.

I found out at 13 weeks by 2d ultrasound and she's stayed a girl ever since lol I paid for mine a lot of places do them early I say go for it if you want ;)

For mine they could tell by the three lines at first the cord was in the way and she thought a boy but as soon as we got the cord to move she was 100% positive it was a girl and even let me go back two weeks later to verify sometimes it's just how experienced the tech is and if they know what to look for as well as if baby is cooperating lol so drink something cold !! 3D ultrasounds reccomend waiting till 15 weeks but u can also find out by blood test depending on ur doc

I had mine done at 13 weeks and confirmed about 10 times so far lol. So mine was very accurate
