well ladies i dont seem to have much time these days after my baby girls birth and my c section.. ill start off by saying my baby girl is doing fab and i love her millions... my hospital stay was awful due to lack of care/midwifes 10 hours after my section i was pulling myself out of my bed to change it as i was led in my own blood it was awful i was only given paracetamol for pain relief as i was told they was "to busy"to go get anything stronger 😠 my scar it self wasnt even looked at for two days untill i kicked a fuss up abt lack of care... i was told my baby girl weighed 6lb 14oz but today when i got my notes from birth it was confirmed she was actually 6lb 3oz.. im fumming about this how could they get it so wrong??!!! needless to say i told them what i thought of there hospital... i was in a side room as requested in pregnancy and i feel it was like i was "forgotten abt" for example on the first night i dropped my buzzer and i lay there for 7 hours in pain wondering what to do as i needed a nappy ect but couldnt walk as id just had a section (this was the same day i had the opp) so in the end i decided to hoyst myself over the side of the bed untill i could reach the button.. only this didnt work and i ended up stuck like that hanging off the bed for a further 40 mins untill finaly a midwife came in... laughed and asked what i was doing to which i bust out crying with pain/anger and said im fucking stuck thats to lack of care and attention by this god dam hoslital/staff she soon changed her ways hrlped me back on the bed ect... i wasnt due home untill tomorrow but i signed myself and lily out yesterday as i couldn't stay there another night.. i dont no how to go abt complaining but ill sure find out as its discusting and if i can make sure no other new mum goes through what i did then ill no iv helped a little... any ideas how i start the ball rolling ladies? ??

so sorry you had to go through that but good on you for being so strong! your little one is gorgeous and I hope you recover quickly. If it was me I'd probably ring the hospital reception and ask them how to complain xx

Omg that's absolutely horrific 😢😢😢😢😢 it's rather hard to get a complaint in when it comes to hospitals! Do not go to ward staff like sister ward manager etc it gets nowhere u need to go higher xx

My community midwife told me to complain to PALS about my care during / after labour x

That's so shocking, when I was in hospital they kept coming in every 4 hours to give me pain meds and everytime asked if I wanted something stronger it's awful they were only giving you paracetamol as I was given morphine shots because I was told they were necessary and then the lack of attention they payed , I would put in a serious complaint x

that is horrible! all medical facilities/staff are registered with the PCT and CQC. if you google them it will show you how to contact them. and trust me they will listen ;) xx

thanks ladies ur words make me feel stronger abt this and want yo fight it more than ever and ill look online for this pals @tuftyturtle @mrsmowmow and ill look into that @felicjuh and im aware that if i yold the sister or staff it would just be another dismissed case @cmcdon203 Xxx

Even though I never had a section the night time midwifes at the hospital I gave birth at were the same horrible, I wrote a letter of complaint and I'm still waiting for a reply 9 weeks later.. and they said my little one was 8lbs 8oz and he was 8lbs 12oz when I got my notes too, some of the NHS is a massive let down. I was in 4 days after and hated every second! glad your home and fingers crossed back to a little normality xxx

I can't believe how bad it is in some hospitals ,and instead of spending money to improve it ,they rather pay benefits to some drug using scummers xxx @babyboots
