My hospital doesnt do water births but DID have a bunch of huge tubs and I didn't realize how close to birth i was...the big tub took off a LOT of pressure I had felt for weeks and months. The warm water was entered at the right time...if you go too early you get too relaxed they say, but at the right time this helps deliver. They told me labor would take hours because I was a FTM but it ended up being only 6hr total in active labor, 20 min or less of any pushing.

I had an accidental water birth, lol. I was so relaxed its like I let him go, I pushed so little and it was my first birth!

I couldn't have a water burn because meconium was present when my water broke. I wanted to though.
