why is it so hard to potty train my son...IDK what to do I set a timer on my phone to take him every…

girl my son just turned 3 and we have been trying for a year... it finally clicked though. I swear boys are harder to train

Idk if you have tried it but try getting washable markers and have him sit backwards on the toilet and draw on the back of the lid (it washes away really fast) I seen it on Facebook and showed a friend of mine who had been trying for 2 years to potty train and it worked.

I agree boys are harder. My youngest just turned 3, and he does good with peeing in the toilet...pooping is another story. He almost always goes in his pants. It's very frustrating. I know he'll get it, but it's been a long road already.

my son was afraid to sit on the toilet. But he would stand up to pee, & I would put Cheerios or fruit loops in the toilet and tell him to aim! his reward was always temporary tattoos, because he wanted tattoos like his daddy.

I had a friend tell me that if it's warm enough outside then put shorts *no undies* on him and then let him play outside all day. ask every 30-45 minutes if he needs to go. she says being outside helped a lot because it was less mess to clean up if he did have an accident.
