@gingyrex, yes your lucky there is so much crap going around and pertussis is one of them along with whooping cough here .. Have you looked into it now ? Or would they not even consider it?

@10yearslater0205, as soon as I got my own insurance I got everything I was able to. And especially being pregnant I worked with my doctor to find out what I needed.

my son has not been able to be vaccinated for the last year due to medical reasons and my sils refuse to vaccinate their children. It does make me nervous to allow my child to play with his cousins. When he came down with RSV over his first Christmas, we were isolated because they did not want him around their children. It's funny how people who choose not to vaccinate their children expect everyone else to protect their children when they are not protecting those without a choice.

@showersoverflowers, the hypocrisy is so frustrating! Because vaccinating healthy children protects those who can't get vaccinated, something those "super moms" ignore! "Well it doesn't affect YOUR vaccinated child, so why do you care?" Maybe I can't vaccinate yet, or ever because age or health. And what they don't realize that if exposure is high enough, vaccinated kids CAN STILL GET SICK. I hope your little guy stays safe, and maybe they wisen up and vaccinate his cousins. One can hope!

I'm one of the moms who have chosen to not vaccinate my children (unborn) bc of all the research that has been done, and what is being injected into my children. It's a choice that you have, just like ppl who chose abortion over giving a baby up for adoption. Being too busy or too lazy is not an excuse! Have you researched when this whooping cough came about? It's not something I had to deal with as a child! What about Autism and Ashburgers(sp) How many cases have come out, and yes there are cases over 30, but pls look at the numbers from the outbreak and how it's progressed! It's scary to know this government is controlling who has what to drive the economy rather it's for the pharmaceutical companies, to bottled water bc the main source is contaminated!! Why is it when I tried to drink tap water, and it was a couple months, I got sicker than a dog!! haven't been sick like that since, but I stopped tap too! I mean it's an unfortunate situation what happened and the risk to the baby, but that not enough to make me stop proceeding with my "religious beliefs" to not vaccinate. It's more so knowledge more than religious beliefs also. Are we just to ignore what the statistics are for the mental issues vaccines do cause?? Vaccines is not the answer for everything, proper nutrition and educating yourself about nutritional values of holistic remedies and natural herbs and spices, and most of all prayer! I don't get the flu shot either bc it makes me sick every time (medical cost and prescription cost) I have never had the flu, and as of late haven't had much more than sniffles which I take a herb and it's done. I have educated my self with the nutritional values of veggies and incorporated them, stuff I didn't eat as a child bc it was never introduced. So all that to say, educate yourself. Just bc you believe something doesn't mean everyone has to. You make adjustments just like you would chicken pox, a cold, poison ivy etc, you stay away from others as much as possible. I don't think that's something new or just bc someone or no one has been vaccinated.

This has been posted multiple times now and only certain ones have I chosen to step in but the fact of the matter is vaccines aren't tested for "decades" and the tests they are using are with unqualified placebos to get the outcome they want. The autism talk has now been PROVEN that it can cause autism and they falsified the results (William Thompson- Whistle Blower) they are going back through Andrew awake fields data and paying him for all the trouble and scandal they caused by accusing him. He discovered the link of vaccines to autism while studying inflammed bowel disease and vaccines. My son reacted to his 4 month vaccines and I never continued and I won't be poisoning this baby either. I don't force my information down anyone's throat but I also will tell you I've done my research. I'm making an informed decision. I've attended with my work multiple seminars where Sherri Tenpenny, Andrew Wakefield and lots more have spoken to us all about the vaccines. I'm not going to be a sheep but I think people need to do REAL research and find legit sources and don't just talked to an over paid professional. That's just my two cents. I'm not selfish for feeling I'm making the best decision for my children.

And as stated above if you want a healthy child cut out all the garbage on there diet! I have one of the brightest eyes 3 year olds and I say that's because I make him healthy in our day to day lives and when you vaccinate you take a light out of there little bodies, you dumb it down with chemicals and other terrible ingredients.

@expectingz, @nikolaneumann 👏👏👏👏 I'm right there with you! and being a medical field worker and knowing doctors who themselves won't vaccinate their own children because they know the research they've done. My boys haven't been vaccinated, I haven't been in 17 yrs and got sick 2 or 3 times. I'm far for lazy as well. I just read what Johns Hopkins University has on the package inserts on the vaccines like some of them cause infertility and do have mutagenic properties. I also know a woman who says anytime someone says anything about not vaccinating my boys to think of her grandson. he is now 20 yrs old and 100% autistic and yes it is from the vaccines. they've been to court over it, he was fine and saying his abc's and the day after his vaccines he was doing circles and stopped talking and in 1986 a law was passed and a fund was set up to protect vaccine companies. it's for injuries due to vaccines. I have tons of research and not just from one source. I also have an article that's really good that looks at vaccines from a different angle.

I was vaccinated and my boyfriend was not, and guess who was more ill growing up, I was ya'know the one who was vaccinated which apparently is suppose to automatically mean I'm healthier. My boyfriend's parents chose not to vaccinate him and also keep him on a healthy diet. He didn't eat fast food until he had his own car and wanted to try it, ultimately deciding it was garbage anyways, same with caffeine. He ate real food, was treated holistically for any minor issue, and never once got more than a cold. Not vaccinating isn't just not getting a shot, that's bullshit, it's an entire lifestyle of health. Go ahead and let the pro vaxxers talk shit, while they pump themselves and their children who cannot make the decision for themselves full of toxins. Same people are the ones that feed their kidsfast food or frozen meals or lunch meat or sodas and candy but ya'know, they're healthier cuz they're vaccinated huh?

@tiffanigypsy8, exactly it's a lifestyle, however if someone chooses to vaccinate their kids that's fine by me however most vaccines have the actual live virus in it. like up until 2000 the live polio virus with in the vaccine and that's what caused the "outbreak". My dad had his shots and still got mumps and measles. But if they're worried about being around my kids then they don't fully trust the vaccines they're giving their kids. cuz if they work like they're supposed to then they have nothing to worry about.

In my experience with people around me the more ACCURATE research you do, the less that end up vaccinating and if they do it's delayed and only for certain ones, which is still better then the full schedule. My MD didn't vaccinate his daughter either. There is just so much on this topic effectiveness, side effects, long term effects. My sons healthy, I don't feed him garbage or sugars or anything lazy I put time into our meals. I'm proud of the lifestyle im providing.
