its not that bad I'm a baby when it comes to pain and I did it with no epidural it felt more lit pressure and when they stitched me up hurt more then actual labor just focus on the prize and tell yourself its worth it also make sure you pee as much as possible it is possible to pee while pushing

I was terrified of it... I think I made a post like this asking for reassurance because I was so stressed about it. But honestly, it was no where near as bad as I was expecting. I had a great epidural, with no complications, and before that my contractions were completely bearable. One thing that really helped me get through the contractions was making sure I inhaled for 10 seconds and exhaled for another 10...breathing techniques really work! You'll be fine, I promise!

@teamblue040416., I 100% recommend getting an epidural, though. It gave me time to rest before I needed to push...and it helped my body relax enough to dilate to 10cm.

@levleah, I feel like I won't know how to push if I get an epidural 😣😣 what can you not feel when you get one?

Try to Avoid being induced if at all possible! I was induced with my son in December and it went from 0-100 really quick. My contractions were unbearable to the point where I was bawling my eyes out, I dilated from 3 cm to 10 cm in a matter of 10 minutes, but only pushed for 20 minutes so that was a good thing lol. But I also 100% recommend the epidural, you can't feel from the waist down but your body will know what to do when it comes time! :)

@teamblue040416., I didn't think I would be able to either but your body takes over and you just know what to do.
