We are thinking to go for a permanent birth control by getting the tubes tied, after my delivery in April. Does anyone has any idea about this birth control and recovery time after doing this.

My mom has her tubes tied, she got them done when my sisters where maybe 3? She was in a lot of pain at first but after about 3 days she was back to doing regular activities like chores and cooking etc but heavy stuff she couldn't do until about 2 weeks after.

I am having baby #7, 5 girls and a boy with a lil boy on the way, I am getting my tubes tied after as well..... My life is finally complete!

I wouldn't do it personally their may be a time you want kids and its a expensive and emotional time trying to untie them .
