I need a little advice. I get what my mom is talking about and think and I believe it too but then again I don't. my daughters fathers birthday is Sunday and part of me wants to text him from Katrina but then again I don't. he didn't get her anything for Christmas, haven't asked about her. right now he is just a check to her. I don't want her not to know him and his family but they making it hard for me to care now.

I wouldnt. if he's not making the effort to be a father, don't make the effort to try and keep him in your lives. he doesn't deserve that. my sister has been going through the same thing with her sons father, he hasnt gone to see him since halloween. and he's only seen him a handful of times so my sister is taking him to court to get full custody

Oh already in process of that. I got child support from him waiting on my custody court date and figure visitation that is if he answers. @arijane316 he thinks I'm going to keep driving down to see them after weather gets better (he lives hour away) I have an 16 year old car, he just got a brand new avenger. but won't visit because my mom hates him. yet she told him he can come see his daughter just she won't be home or go in other room

@babygluttony, i wouldn't especially if he thinks your suppose to make all the effort and hasnt visited. If he has a car, then he should man up go see his child despite your mom not liking him.
