I'm finally home and in my own bed! 👏 My daughter was diagnosed with minimal change nephrodic syndrome. She gained 8lbs in fluid weight and her whole body was swollen from her face, hands, feet, belly, and even her lower back! The treatment for this is very long and drawn out we will be on an EXTREMELY HIGH dose of prednisone 😠😢☺ for the next SIX weeks then they will tapper it down. She is also on a very strick 1g of sodium diet and I have to monitor her urine protein levels, blood pressure, and weight. If her urine protein levels do not get better and he swelling does not completely go away she will be re-admitted for additional testing and treatments. After all is said and done she looks 100% better and I thank goodness for amazing doctor's and medicine!! 😇 thank you to everyone who kept us in their prayers!
