I definitely talk to my doctors especially with so much different information on the Internet. I have 4 pregnancy apps 2 say 13 week start the second trimester (which is what it has been for me since my first child) and 2 say week 13 is the end of the first trimester. I will stick to what my doctors say, no need to get confused by apps.

It's because the start of the second trimester is in the middle of the 13th week.

@chhaya, I just go by my doctors schedule, it's cool to have apps but none of that matters when I'm at my appointments. There is often a lot of back and forth with mom's because someones book says something and someone else got information from a site that says something else.
