so, I'm kinda upset... my mom and my step mom were supposed to work together to plan my babyshower. I been getting asked by my friends if I'm having a shower and when. so after looking at my calendar, my Fiancé and I decided on a date that would be good for us and I told my mom, she said okay, told my step mom and she said okay. so I made a fb event page so my friends could save the date. now my step mom is pissed. said she doesn't want to help with the shower now because she wasn't consulted before I made the event. said she thought it was a suggested date, not set in stone. I apologised and said I'd take it down, I just wanted my friends to have enough notice to request the day off work for it. I wasn't trying to step on her toes or anything but she's still mad and stopped talking to me. I was so excited to have my mom and my step mom working together and it's not fair that she got so upset over me putting a date on it.... idk it just sucks. this was the first time my moms had agreed to work together and the first baby my step mom has been a part of the process for.... idk. I'm so bummed about it. :(
