Anyone use bassinet for newborn? Thoughts? Thinking about getting that before a crib.

I'm getting pack and play with bassinet

I used one for my son in our room... tried it with out daughter and she hated the bassinet and our room lol so she has slept in a pack n play in the living room (it's the toy room area now due to remodel and her room not being done) with a dim light and radio on low since 3 days old (c-section so we were in the hospital for 3 days

I used a bassinet for both but this time I'll use a co sleeper or pack n play .. I did let them nap now their cribs during the day

I used one with my first and will be using one again with this baby, you only get about 4-5 months use max (depending on what bassinet you get) out of one, but at 3 months I plan on moving her to her crib anyways. just easier to have right beside the bed, that way I don't have to walk across the house several times while recovering.

we used ours with each baby for a while til they needed more room. it helped a lot with my c section babies and know it'll help with this baby but once she starts turning/rolling over we'll move her to a pack n play, my last baby was in the bassinet til he was about 4 months old. my first baby I don't really remember how long he was in the bassinet but we used it for about the same amount of time(up to 4 months, maybe 3months)
