I don't care whose house it is, or who pays the bills. My mother raised me to be kind, courteous, & considerate of other people. So if I get up in the middle of the night I try to be as quiet as possible. My boyfriends dad? He gets up at any time he wants & calls one of the dogs loud as hell until she finally comes, but she doesn't like to move in the morning because she likes to sleep in too. So it takes a while. Then he sits there & talks to her while still being loud, & then (this time) leaves for work after hyping her up. He's also let this dog have an ear infection for over a year. We couldn't do anything, but when he took her to get her shots the bet made him get her medicine (thank god!! Poor girl!) & he gave it to her for a few days & then threw the rest out rather than saving it?! So the ear infection came right back! This dog alway comes to me when something is bothering her, because she knows I listen & will figure out what's bothering her. The other day some snow was stuck in the pass of her paws so she came limping to me & I got it out fast, another time her bone was stuck where she could t get it so she came & got me to show me, & yesterday she came up to me with the saddest look on her face & tilting her head, letting me know her ear was REALLY bothering her. I couldn't stand it. So I looked up some home remedies for dog ear infections & found that coconut oil helps sooth & treat them, so I bought a 54oz jar from Amazon. We're going to get you better baby girl. I'm also going to buy yogurt to give her a spoonful everyday because that's good for dogs as well. Ugh but his dad got this dog saying it was my boyfriends, but my boyfriend isn't allowed to take her with us when we move, nor are we allowed to take her for a car ride to the park or anything for a walk. Yet his dad refuses to properly train k take care of this dog. Obviously with the ear infection. He also tightened her collar while she was still growing & tried cutting it so you couldn't adjust it easily, but I managed to finally loosen it after it had already calloused the back of her neck & caused some hair loss, it's all softened & the hair has grown back since, but his dad is just an asshole on sooo many levels!!! IF YOU'RE GOING TO GET AN ANIMAL, YOU BETTER TREAT IT RIGHT!
