I'm so confused... I see a lot of moms to be on my FB feed and have seen a few on here talk about "push gifts"... can…

I personally gave two of my friends push gifts. It's just something small for the mom after having the baby. I got a Pandora charm for one and a bath and body works stress bath set for the other. I don't think it's necessarily expected, though.

Of course the baby is the gift. But my boyfriend wants to also buy me something nice once its all over with because he can't even imagine how it is to be pregnant for 9 months and then push a baby out. So just the show me how much he appreciates me carrying and delivering his child, he plans to get me something.

@alexalexa, @ayyeblackberry__ understandable. I just never heard of such a thing until recently. I wouldn't ever ask for anything for myself, but if it happened I wouldn't be rude and say no. I feel awkward when people give me gifts 😂

My husband said he was getting me one and then he said well do I get one? And I said YEAH A BABY!

It's not expected it's just a sweet gesture in appreciation/admiration. Everyone says do stuff or get stuff for yourself while pregnant because the baby is the number one focus after.

My husband got me a Pandora bracelet as a push gift. Apparently it's a really big thing in his family. I'd never heard of it until then.

I got a steak dinner when I got home. Thats all I wanted lol
