I think you just let them pick which day they wish to celebrate on. February 28th or March 1st!

No you never tell them happy birthday. Lol. Girl. Of course you still celebrate their birthday. Considering February 28 comes every year, logically, March 1 would be that missing calendar day that you gave birth. But some people celebrate February 28 anyway.

A friend of mine was born the 29th of Feb she celebrated every year on the 28th on the years where the 29th happened they had a bigger celebration like a trip to disney or snowboarding...

Someone told me that by law the mother would have to chose either feb. 28th or March 1st as their legal birthday not sure if that's the case but I've been worried about this lol I'm die March 4th and I would be ok with her coming any other day besides leap year lol

Well for 1 it is on the calendar. just every 4 years. 2, my great grandma made it an on going joke. technically she was only 23 (she lived to 92) when she died lol but we always celebrated on the 28th

your the parent it's your decision what day to celebrate their birthday but if I were u I'd stick to Feb and do Feb 28th and do something special on leap year years 4, 8, 12, 16, 20.... but just know on their 21st birthday they won't get served alcohol til midnight March 1st(so maybe March 1st would b better for that fact but I don't know) so if I were u I'd pick for right now and when their 5 or something(or whenever you feel they'll understand) ask if they what day they want to celebrate their birthday for at school/with everyone :)
