OK, I've posted about this before so sorry for the repeat. Tomorrow I am 15 weeks and I can not tell the difference between gas bubbles and possible baby movements. It happens the most late at night when I lay down to go to bed. I'm so very excited to feel my little one move. Will I just know when it happens?

Everyone always told me it felt like butterflies or popping bubbles. For me it felt more like tiny little stomach muscle spasms. I wasn't sure the first few times then I realized it was the baby when they got stronger and more frequent.

@babyg407, how far along were you when you first felt it?

Gas bubbles was the perfect way to describe it but I definitely didn't feel it at 14 weeks. I felt it at like 19-20 weeks but others said they felt it sooner.

I was later probably around 19 weeks @allybrand I have an anterior placenta so I think that's why it wasn't sooner.

could be quickening. I feel it too in the area where the baby should be. I've been feeling them for about 2 weeks now. this is also my third pregnancy and they say you can feel them sooner with each pregnancy. but my first pregnancy I was about 21 weeks

the first small movements for me was around 18-19 weeks. now I feel them more but still not consistent and I'm over 21 weeks along.
