I think your little one is old enough now that the extra things aren't really a worry. that's more for the tiny babes who can't get things out of their faces and cause SIDS.
its only his blankies. he has a blanket obsession. I know its weird, but he WONT sleep without them haha. I still worry, but I only keep those in their an he has a pillow but I put it under is bed sheet. @kattastrophe
my daughter is only 5 months and needs a blanket too lol... the risk of SIDS is almost none after 6 months. he's totally fine. it's just a worry for babies who can't control their motor skills enough to get stuff out of their face and don't have rolling perfected... you're doing great momma!! (:
that's why when he was little little I always swaddled him and he had reflux so he slept in his swing because it had an incline. he started sleeping on his own at 6 months! @kattastrophe
love baby swings!! my daughter only ever napped in hers, but it was still a lifesaver. at night she sleeps in my arms, it's gonna be a hard habit to break for both of us lol
just as hard as the habit I made with him sleeping with movement, once we moved him to a crib he didn't know what to do because their was no movement. it was so hard, half the time he'd end up with me in bed. @kattastrophe
