Did anyone get really bad over the top tailbone pain towards the end of their pregnancy? Never had it with my first, but this time I have a hard, obnoxious mass of tissue at the base of my tailbone and it hurts like anything to move/ sit down/ stand up. Spoke to my midwife about it and all she said was 'oh, that's unusual'.
Booking in to the doctor next week to make sure it won't do any more damage during labour, whatever it is.

No :( that sounds painful! See the doc but might also be worth seeing a chiro

i seen a chiro and i had SPD google it :) i also had very back and horrible back labour they injecked 4 needles of water in my back 2 on either side of my spin and it was amazing how water just releised to pain good luck but deffs google SPD in pregnacy

I've already been diagnosed with SPD, haha. This pain is completely different & just my tailbone. Just worried it will cause damage in labour, I had physio after my first little guy from tail bone pain but it was nothing like this. More Worried about the actual lump there, the only Chiropracter won't treat pregnant women because he's elderly 😢 thanks for the tips ladies!
