My SO agreed to $850 for a rent budget, so I convinced the renter of a 3/3 townhome to reduce his price to $850. Got my hopes up cuz we finally found a place! I tell him and he said no because the website listing said $825 and apparently $25 will put him in a financial bind even tho he said the budget of $850. He said we could move into the townhome only if I go back to work after 3 months. 😡 fine I'll go back to work, when my short-term disability runs out and they stop paying me...there is no way we're going to find a 3/3 for $850 and I'm not moving into another 2 bedroom for that we might as well stay where we are at!
